Orthodontist Dr. K. Kolcuoğlu

He began his undergraduate studies at Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Dentistry in 2005 and graduated in 2011.

In 2014, he began his specialty training in the Department of Orthodontics at the same university’s Faculty of Dentistry. He completed his training in 2018 with his thesis titled “Micro-CT Evaluation of Root Resorption Induced by Orthodontic Force in Root Canal-Treated Premolars,” qualifying as an orthodontist.

Following his specialty training, he worked as an orthodontist at Göztepe Oral and Dental Health Center. In 2020, he left public service and continued providing orthodontic treatment at private dental clinics. He currently practices at his own clinic, Klinik Üsküdar, where he provides orthodontic care to his patients.

His clinical practice focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of orthodontic problems in children, adolescents, and adults. In addition to fixed orthodontic treatments, he places particular emphasis on clear aligner treatment, adopting an individualized approach to treatment planning that takes into account each patient’s dental and skeletal characteristics, needs, and treatment goals.

He closely follows scientific and technological developments in orthodontics and aims to continually expand his knowledge and experience through professional training courses and scientific congresses.

He is a member of the Turkish Dental Association, the Turkish Orthodontic Society, the Turkish Aligner Society, and the Istanbul Chamber of Dentists.

His fundamental approach to orthodontic treatment is to assess each patient’s needs in accordance with scientific evidence and develop personalized treatment plans that address oral and dental health, functional requirements, and aesthetic expectations together.
