Prof. Dr. K. Özdil

Prof. Dr. K. Özdil graduated from Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, in 1994. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Fourth Department of Internal Medicine, Istanbul Haseki Training and Research Hospital, in December 1998. Between 1999 and 2003, he worked as an Internal Medicine Specialist at a private hospital.

From 2003 to 2007, he completed his Gastroenterology Fellowship at Istanbul Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital, obtaining his subspecialty certification in Gastroenterology in 2007.

In 2010, he became Deputy Head of the Department of Gastroenterology at Istanbul Ümraniye Training and Research Hospital. That same year, he earned a master’s degree in Hospital and Healthcare Institution Management from Beykent University.

He became an Associate Professor of Gastroenterology in 2012 at Istanbul Ümraniye Training and Research Hospital. On September 26, 2017, he was appointed Professor of Gastroenterology at the University of Health Sciences, Ümraniye Training and Research Hospital.

His additional training includes Basic Endoscopic Ultrasonography Training and an observership at San Raffaele Hospital in Milan, Italy, in 2013 and 2015, as well as an Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship at CHA Bundang Medical Center in South Korea in 2017.
